Latoya Ogunkami (Gklinos) played two years (2002-2004) with the Bruins and ensured her time was a memorable one. Leading the Bruins in goals scored and created, Latoya was an impactful striker who was able to play off both feet and made the defense nervous anytime the ball was in her possession. A versatile player with speed, agility and a knack for goal, Latoya was recognized by the CCAA and received Athlete of the month. That same year Latoya helped her team win an OCAA Bronze medal in 2004. After graduating, Latoya became an assistant coach with the women's soccer team and her success continued when the team added a silver medal at the 2005 OCAA Championships.
