OAKVILLE, Ont. - After putting up a season-high 19 points - including a career-best 16 kills - in a come-from-behind 5-set victory over Redeemer on Friday, third year opposite Tara Aune was named an OCAA Star of the Week.

"Tara was great for us last week," head coach Scott Hunt said. "When she's on her game we can be a very dangerous team, with attack options from different areas on the court."

Aune is in the midst of a career year for the Double Blue, having already bettered her previous season-bests in points and kills, and is tracking towards the same for aces and digs. 

She's hit double figures in six of 16 matches this season, but has also fallen shy by just a single point on four other occasions. The performance also saw her surpass two milestones, passing the 300-kill and 400-point marks for her career.
