Women's soccer to open indoor campaign at Centennial

OAKVILLE, Ont. - After a sudden and disappointing end to their outdoor season playoff run, the Sheridan Bruins women's soccer team will begin looking for redemption when they kickoff their indoor season in the Centennial Invitational on Jan. 19.

"Obviously things did not end in October the way we would have liked, but fortunately the format of our sport always us an opportunity for redemption much sooner than next year," head coach Paul Angelini said. "The indoor game is much different stylistically from outdoor, so these early tournaments are a good way for us to tinker with lineups and systems and see what works for us."

In addition to Centennial, the Bruins will play in two other tune-up events - the Royal Cup hosted by Redeemer on Jan. 25 and the Sheridan Invitational on Feb. 16

When OCAA regional play begins in March, they will compete in Group D with Georgian, Lakehead-Orillia, St. Clair, and UTM.
