Men's volleyball continue adding to 2018-19 roster

OAKVILLE, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins men's volleyball continue to fill out their roster for the 2018-19 campaign, announcing today the commitment of outside hitter/libero Nathan Kociancic (Mississauga).

"I chose Sheridan so that I can stay close to home while playing volleyball at the next level," he said. "Sheridan has a reputable electromechanical engineering program being taught in a brand new facility, so it was just the right choice for me. I know that I have the right personality and attitude to fit in with this coaching staff and group of men."

Kociancic picked up a pair of medals during the high school season with St. Marcellinus, earning ROPSSAA silver and OFSAA bronze.

He began his club career with the Georgetown Impact before making the transition to Pakmen

"We're excited to have Nathan on board," head coach Frank Pento said. "He has tremendous ability and we think he'll be able to make a smooth transition to the college game with his high school and club experience."

Kociancic has accepted an offer to the Electromechanical Engineering program at the Davis Campus in Brampton.
