Men's soccer puts five on the board in shutout of Conestoga

KITCHENER, Ont. - Through 270 minutes of play to open their season, the Sheridan Bruins men's soccer team (2-0-1 OCAA) has yet to concede a goal and they finally provided a surplus of their own tallies, delivering an emphatic 5-0 win over Conestoga.

"We made life much harder for ourselves in those first two games by not taking care of our chances when we had them," head coach Andrew Seuradge said. "We did much better today, but we still have some room for improvement."

Francis Ameyaw and Cyrus Rollocks each scored a brace, while Fred Ameyaw added the final marker. Elijah de Los Santos picked up a second clean sheet in his third start of the season.

The Double Blue will get their first opportunity to play on home turf next week, hosting George Brown on Sept. 20 (4:30pm).
