"The Game"

Brampton, Ont - The marquee match-up was very early in the Bruins regular season. The Bruins hosted the Humber Hawks for their second home game of the season on Tuesday, October 29th. Prior to this game the Bruins were on a 2-game winning streak and looking to make that 3 after the game against the Hawks.

After the Women's game against the Hawks was very exciting and thrilling, the Men's team were looking to keep the excitement in the gym for the full house of fans!

In the first quarter, the game started off slowly, with lots of three point attempts and some great defence by the Bruins. This drive on defence turned into a great show for the fans and the players were definitely giving the crowd a must see game. To end the first quarter, two players who didn't go unnoticed and were lighting it up on the court was Jemol Edwards and Keenan Danso-Dapaah, combining for 14 of the Bruins 25 points in the first quarter. The competition level between these two rival squads did not go unnoticed though, with lots of passion after each basket and in between plays. All around, the Bruins stayed eager and hungry for the ball, stimulating quick lockdown defensive plays and creating multiple basket opportunities that were then followed through. As the game was nearing the end you could feel and see the high level of determination and competitive drive that both teams had to pull a win, fortunately the Bruins were able to pull a close game victory over the Hawks 85-82.

Way to Go Bruins!
