BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins men's basketball team (22-7, 11-3 OCAA) grounded the Conestoga offence, holding them to a season-low 60 points, while forcing 22 turnovers and limiting them to 1-of-14 shooting from 3-point range in a wire-to-wire 93-60 triumph. 

After an opening quarter in which the two sides combined to shoot 18-38 (47.4 per cent) from the floor, the Bruins led 27-18. They really clamped down in the second quarter, as Conestoga could only muster eight points in the frame on 3-of-18 shooting, to open a 53-27 halftime advantage. 

The visitors won the third quarter 25-21 to trim the margin to 22, but that would be as close as they would get, as Sheridan slammed the door in the final period, allowing only eight points while forcing seven turnovers. 

Nick Campbell paced the club with 23 points and five boards, while Keenan Danso-Dapaah filled up the stats sheet with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Romar Subban (12) and AJ Thompson (10) were also in double figures, while Tremaine Anderson hauled down a team-high 11 boards. 

The club now has their longest layoff of the second half, with 10 days off before they host Niagara (Jan. 29, 8pm) in a critical contest to determine OCAA West playoff positioning.
