The Sheridan Bruins Athletics program is delighted to announce the hiring of Stuart Hooper as the Head Coach of the Varsity Women's Volleyball team.

 

Hooper, a NCCP Indoor Elite Certified Coach, has been coaching for 23 years with 19 of those years as a Head Coach in the Ontario Volleyball Association and adding three Ontario Championship gold medals.

 

Stuart is a Bruins Alumni who played from 1987-1991 including contributing to our All-Time best Men's Volleyball team by chalking up three OCAA Gold medals, a CCAA silver and CCAA bronze. He was a member of the Team Hall of Fame Induction in 2013 and was a recipient of the Coaches award. Stuart also served as an Assistant Coach of our Men's Volleyball team from 2003-2007.

 

He has always wanted to come back to Sheridan to bring his love and experience with volleyball back to the Double-Blue home.
