Ricardo Edwards
Ricardo Edwards

Ricardo Edwards arrived at Sheridan from Central Peel in Brampton in 1997, and his impact was immediately felt by both the Bruins Basketball program and the OCAA. In his first season, he was the starting centre on Sheridan's fifth OCAA championship team, leading the double-blue in rebounds and blocked shots. By the time his career was concluded, Ricardo had been named an OCAA all-star, won 3 regular season titles, 3 Ontario Championships, 1 national silver and 2 national championship bronze.  His unselfishness was combined with dedication to his team and physical toughness, all ingredients that lead to a Hall of Fame career.  In 2005, Ricardo graduated from the Electromechanical Engineeringprogram, and he remains one of the greatest student-athletes in Bruin basketball history.
