Women's volleyball drops 2nd half opener to Humber

REXDALE, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins women's volleyball team (9-8, 4-6 OCAA) kicked off the second half of the OCAA regular season with a trip to Humber and came out on the wrong side of a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-12) scoreboard.

The attempt from the Double Blue to play a more aggressive style did not yield positive results, with Sheridan having nearly triple the number of combined attack, serve, and ball handling errors that their counterparts did.

Tamia Cooper-Evelyn and Darby Sewell each scored a team-high eight points in defeat.

The Bruins don't have much time to re-group though, hosting St. Clair (8-1 OCAA) on Jan. 13 (1pm).

St. Clair will be on the second game of a back-to-back, as they play at Humber on Saturday.
