Lady Bruins continue 2016-17 roster additions

OAKVILLE, Ont. — The Sheridan Bruins women's volleyball team continue adding to their 2016-17 roster, announcing the commitment of middle Katelyn Long.

"I chose to go to Sheridan to pursue my post-secondary education primarily because of the Athletic Therapy program that is being offered," she said. "I am excited to be able to play volleyball at the college level as a Bruin. By choosing Sheridan I also have the opportunity to be closer to my family, which helped solidify my decision."

"Katelyn is another player who will add some size and athleticism in the middle for us." added head coach Scott Hunt. "She will help us become a more effective team at the net with her ability to attack and block. We are looking forward to having her as a Bruin."

Long will join the squad after playing for Timmins High, where she won a pair of NEOAA championships and qualified for OFSAA twice.
