KITCHENER, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins men's (8-0) and women's (7-0) soccer teams each won their second straight tournament, sweeping the Conestoga Invitational.

The men's team opened with emphatic wins over Laurier Brantford (4-1) and Lakehead Orillia (7-0), before downing the hosts from Conestoga, 4-2, in the final.

On the women's side, Sheridan had the same preliminary opponents as their male counterparts, with the Double Blue claiming a 7-1 win over Laurier Brantford and 4-3 triumph over Lakehead Orillia.

They downed Georgian 4-0 in the final.

The Bruins will play a tournament for a third straight week when they travel to Redeemer, with the men's tournament on Jan. 26, followed by the women on Jan. 27.
