SUDBURY, Ont. - Three members of the Sheridan Bruins women's soccer team (5-6 OCAA) were honoured during the OCAA Championship banquet Wednesday, as Kendra Challis and Madison Roberts were named Central Division All-Stars, while Cassidy Chantler was named the Central Division Rookie of the Year. 

In an effort to shore up the backline, team captain Challis made the move from her natual central midfield spot to sweeper. She closed the year with one goal, but her steady defensive presence was pivotal in the Bruins securing a third place finish. 

Roberts, meanwhile, maintained that spot in the middle of the park, playing a key role linking the backline and the attack. She scored two goals - both against George Brown in two separate games, supplying the winner in the club's home opener Sept. 16. 

Chantler was often the trigger on the Sheridan offensive front, leading the team with four goals. Two of her scores went for game-winners.
