Women's soccer close regular season with win over UTM

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- The Sheridan Bruins women's soccer team (5-2-3 OCAA) capped their regular season with a 4-1 win over UTM. 

Viktoria VanZanten scored a brace to give her 11 on the season, leading the Central Division, while Kendra Challis scored her third and Madison Roberts her second of the season. 

The Double-Blue will now shift into playoff mode, hosting Mohawk in an OCAA Championship qualifier on Saturday, October 22 (3pm). 

Mohawk finished third in the OCAA West Division with a 5-4-1 record, with 19 goals for and 12 against.

They closed the regular season with a 1-1 draw against Redeemer on October 19.
