Women's soccer drop close one at Humber

ETOBICOKE, Ont. -- The Sheridan Bruins women's soccer team (3-2-2 OCAA) controlled numerous stretches of their first showdown with Humber, but could never find the back of the net in a 1-0 defeat.

The lone Humber goal came at the 20 minute mark, courtesy of Elysia Prasad.

With only three games remaining on the schedule, the Double-Blue are sitting on 11 points.

That total is tied for second in the Central Division with Seneca, who still have five games remaining.

It also leaves them three points clear of Niagara for the third and final post-season spot.

Niagara comes to Sheridan on October 12 for the second leg of their season series in what looms as a critical game for both sides.
