Lady Bruins post win, pair of losses over three-day trip

NORTH BAY, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins women's soccer team continue to round their way towards the start of their OCAA season on September 14, playing a pair of OUA opponnents and one from the RSEQ on three consecutive days.

"I think the ladies showed a lot of improvement over the past week and in particular these three days," head coach Paul Angelini said. "They seem to be getting a feel for our structure and the brand of soccer we want to play. Hopefully that continues as we get closer to the start of our season."

The Double-Blue began with a trip to Peterborough on August 21, returning home with a 3-2 win over Trent.

They then travelled to North Bay for a back-to-back set against Nipissing and Concordia and ended up on the wrong side of a pair of 2-1 decisions.

The Lady Bruins will open their OCAA Central slate at home on Tuesday, September 14 against Seneca.
