Cross country get key experience in Fanshawe meet

LONDON, Ont. -- The Sheridan Bruins cross country team kicked off their 2016-17 campaign by competing in the Fanshawe Invitational, with the men's team placing seventh and women placing 11th.

"It was definitely a good start for us," head coach Danny Webster said. "We've been working hard in our training, but it's always good to get a taste of that competitive environment. I think we all have some things we took away from the competition that we can take back into training with us and continue to aim to have our peak when championship season rolls around."
