Men's volleyball drops pair at Fanshawe, St. Clair

WINDSOR, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins men's volleyball team (5-7, 3-6 OCAA) closed out the first half of their season with a pair of 3-0 losses to Fanshawe and St. Clair. 

The Double Blue were in tough against the No. 1 team in the country to open their trip, facing a Falcons squad that hasn't dropped a set in conference play this year and only five sets overall - three of which were against OUA competition. 

Fanshawe hit at .353 in the opening set while the Bruins had more errors (six) than kills (five), and the home side rolled to a 25-12 win. Sheridan couldn't get on track after that, being closed out 25-17 and 25-15. 

Richard Davids led the way with eight points on seven kills and one ace. 

Against St. Clair, they were close in all three sets but suffered a trio of 25-21 losses.
