SUDBURY, Ont. -- The Sheridan Bruins men's volleyball team (2-0 OCAA) opened their regular season on the road and emerged with a pair of 3-0 wins over Cambrian and Boreal.

Against Cambrian, scores were 25-20, 25-18 and 25-18.

Christian Dela Cruz led the way with 12 points (11 kills, one ace), while Shaun Lasala (eight kills, three blocks) was also in double figures with 11. 

The Double-Blue were even more dominant against Boreal, winning 25-21, 25-8 and 25-16. 

Nine of the 12 Bruins who hit the floor recorded at least a point, led by Ricky Davids with six. 

The Bruins will host Fanshawe in their conference opener on October 29 (3pm).
