Men's soccer hold division standing with scoreless draw at Niagara

WELLAND, Ont. -- With a chance to further strengthen their position in the OCAA Central Division standings, the Sheridan Bruins men's soccer team (2-1-1 OCAA) didn't gain any ground, but didn't lose any either, playing Niagara to a scoreless draw.

In the opening half, the Double-Blue managed to get both of their shot attempts on target while Niagara got one of their four shot attempts on the Sheridan net.

In the second half, the Bruins managed to get three attempts on goal, while Craig Boytchuk only needed to make one save out of seven Niagara shots.

The Double-Blue will go back on the road on Thursday, September 29 to play Seneca, before hosting George Brown during Sheridan Homecoming on October 1.

Both contests will mark the second leg of the season series in both cases, with a 3-0 decision being rendered in the previous two -- a win over Seneca and a defeat to George Brown.
