Second straight comeback win for men's rugby

OAKVILLE, Ont. -- For a second straight contest, the Sheridan Bruins men's rugby team (2-1 OCAA) managed to claw their way back, this time getting a second half try to provide the difference in a 7-3 win over Mohawk during Sheridan Homecoming.

"We gave up the penalty kick early, but I thought we did a really good job responding after that," head coach Carlos Moniz said. "We were able to put some pressure on throughout the rest of the first half, but just couldn't quite finish things off. I'm really proud of the way our guys hung in there and competed."

The Double-Blue has a quick turnaround, travelling to play Seneca on October 6.
