Men's basketball pull away from Fanshawe in third quarter run

LONDON, Ont. -- The Sheridan Bruins men's basketball team (11-2, 3-0 OCAA) took an unblemished league record on the road Saturday to face the Fanshawe Falcons and came away with a 77-50 victory.

Mid way through the third period, the Bruins trailed by three when they put on a burst of scoring that lead to a 25-3 run over the host squad.

Paced by a 14-point third quarter from Jemol Edwards, the Double-Blue notched their third victory in as many OCAA West contests, and now play host to the Mohawk Mountaineers Tuesday night at the Davis Campus.

Game time is 8pm.
