Bob McCrudden
Bob McCrudden

It seemed a formality that Robert A. McCrudden would one day be enshrined in the Bruins Hall of Fame.
Being inducted in the Builder Category is a great way to acknowledge his efforts in being a “Booster” over many years at Sheridan.
When the word Booster comes to mind you think of someone who was dedicated to a program and showed that dedication in their attendance in games and events held by that program; Bob certainly did that.  For over 30 years, it seemed that, if a Bruin was playing Bob was watching and cheering.
Bob’s contribution was way more than just watching and cheering.  He blew the Sheridan fight song on his bugle, organized and manned “Goober’s Grub Shack” at home football games. Organized fund raising events and relentlessly promoted Athletic events in the administrative halls of the college.
Most people thought he was a member of the Atheltic Department because of his hard work and devotion to the program.  For all that he had done for the program no one is mistaken in knowing that his blood flows Sheridan Blue.
