Women's soccer can't catch Cambrian after conceding early goal

OAKVILLE, Ont. - For a second straight game there was a goal scored within the first three minutes, but unfortunately for the Sheridan Bruins women's soccer team (2-2 OCAA) this time they were on the conceding end of it, and never managed to dig out of that hole, suffering a 2-0 loss to Cambrian.

Tiffany Johnson notched the third minute marker for Cambrian, and later added an insurance goal in the 52nd minute.

The loss snapped a tw0-game win streak for the Bruins, but they have little time to re-group, with two more home dates on this week's schedule.

Sheridan will play host to the first leg of the Region of Peel derby when 0-4 UTM visits on Sept. 27 (4:30 pm), while they will renew another rivalry when Humber is the opponent for Sheridan Homecoming on Sept. 30 (1:30pm).
