Women's basketball drop second straight at Mohawk

HAMILTON, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins women's basketball team (10-13, 8-9 OCAA) dropped a second straight contest, falling 75-56 to Mohawk.

It was a rough start for the Double Blue, staring at a 16-point deficit (26-10) by the end of the first quarter.

They managed to win the second period, but the margin by which they did it (18-15) still saw them down 41-28 at the break.

In the second half, the Bruins were unable to draw any closer.

Theresa Brown led the way with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Brianna Stewart chipped in with 13 points.

They will travel to UTM on Feb. 14 (6pm).
